Here's an excerpt from my latest article for Homeland Security Today's Correspondents Watch:
"On January 24, President Obama delivered his fourth State of the Union address. Given the typical length of presidential State of the Union addresses, he was able to cover a wide variety of topics, with the American economy as the centerpiece – and for good reason. However, when discussing foreign policy and external threats, the southwest border merited one sentence; Mexico was never mentioned, and the subject of illegal immigration and immigration reform consisted of just one tiny paragraph. Obama said: “I believe as strongly as ever that we should take on illegal immigration. That's why my Administration has put more boots on the border than ever before. That's why there are fewer illegal crossings than when I took office … We should be working on comprehensive immigration reform right now.” The Texas Border Coalition—a collective voice of border mayors, county judges and economic development commissions—definitely took notice of the omission... So what does that tell us about where border security policy lies in the grand scheme of US government priorities?"

The national priority in this area for our neo-marxist leaders is to facilitate the entrance of illegal immigrants and then find a way to grant them citizenship, majority of whom will vote demoncratic. This can be seen in the lack of deportations, prosecution of BP agents who used standard tactics to control a drug smuggler, and the reports that BP agents have been unofficially told to ratchet back their enforcement.
The flavor of neo-marxism that Obama prescribes to is from the Frankfurt School and is mostly based on an anti-colonialism model, where the "colonists" are primarily white and the victims (real or imaginary) are non-white. This was learned from his Father and the marxists he associated with growing up. Obama will continue to facilitate the breaking of the law by folks that perceives as the victim of white colonial oppression. Any talk of enforcing current law is just a smoke screen (e.g. claiming to increase deportations while not deporting non-violent illegal aliens). So if you are expecting the Obama admin to start enforcing the law for the sake of the law forget it. We are slouching towards Mexico.

I think that someone doesn't know very much about Marx, Marxism or Neo-Marxism.

Obama claiming that illegal immigration is down because there are fewer arrests for it, would be like Philadelphia claiming the murder rate is down because there are fewer murder arrests.
Aside from the economy issues, I think Central Americans are just scared to death of becoming a casualty of the Mexican cartels.
