Today, I'm very honored to have as my first podcast guest Nicholas Stein, series producer for the fascinating show "Border Wars"! I was very fortunate a few months ago that Nick reached out to me after reading my blog a few times, and we've become fast friends. He and his crew have had many adventures and have seen some amazing and disturbing things while following the days and nights of CBP and USBP officers while they work the southwest border.
In this podcast, Nick shares some of the more exciting moments while filming the show, while explaining in first-hand detail many of the things that the men and women of CBP and USBP do tirelessly, day in and day out, to not only protect our border, but also the lives of those who are in danger while trying to cross it. His is a unique and mesmerizing perspective, and I hope you can take some time to listen to our conversation below!
Really enjoyed the podcast and appreciated the views expressed. I find the show "Border Wars" fascinating having lived in the Rio Grande Valley. I am a huge advocate of exploiting human trafficking so people realize what these cartels and smugglers do to the people they traffic.
