are there any small towns close to Juarez that are abandoned... or starting to become abandoned because of the drug violence?

@Blair - I honestly don't know. I didn't even know about the situation in Ciudad Mier/Nuevo Guerrero/Miguel Alemán until the exodus started. Maybe some of my readers can comment...

Does anyone know why Angela Kocherga has stopped reporting on the México situation at this link - http://www.kvue.com/community/blogs/angela-kocherga-border - her last story is dated in late Oct.? I wouldn't be surprised if she has been threatened for reporting on this.
By the way, I knew about the situation of abandoned towns as soon as the stories surfaced. Are you hiring for someone with time to dig up stories? ;-) I think that started coming out about 2 months ago or so.
